Saat ini telingaku lagi senang-senangnya mendengarkan single terbaru dari Linkin Park berjudul New Divide. Single terbaru ini khusus dibuat untuk menjadi soundtrack untuk sekuel film transformer dengan titel Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. Apabila pada film pertama yang diambil adalah lagu What I've Done yang merupakan salah satu lagu di album Minutes to Midnight , Linkin Park lebih memilih untuk membuat sebuah lagu baru daripada mengambil lagu yang sudah ada.

The Song
Lagu ini memang keren. Balutan musiknya yang masih mirip-mirip dengan skema lagu di album Minutes to Midnight berpadu dengan suara khas Chester Bennington. Dan yang pasti semua elemen band lengkap mulai dari riff gitar Brad Delson, sampai nuansa elektronik Mr. Hahn. Kalo diperhatikan, musik yang dipakai sebagai intro musik pernah muncul juga di Transformer edisi pertama sehingga makin menguatkan single ini sebagai themenya Transformer 2 ini.
Saking kerennya, tidak heran lagu ini langsung debut di posisi 6 Billboard 100, posisi tertinggi yang berhasil dicapai sejak keberhasilan lagu In The End saat dirilis.
